DIOSA MAR is an adventurous swimwear line created by Mexican-American designer Tatiana Alexandra Rodriguez-Anderson in Mexico. Tatiana was born in the indigenous community of Yelapa located on the Pacific Coast of Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco. Born to an Irish-American mother and Indigenous Mexican father she went on to live in California, Hawaii, Florida and later lived in Barcelona while finishing grad school in Psychology. While living in California she picked up her love for surfing and bikinis. It wasn't until she was twenty-four years old that she finally decided to pursue her passion for designing swimwear.
Diosa means goddess in Spanish and Mar means ocean. The earthy tones and animal prints are staples to the Diosa Mar brand which are inspired from Tatiana's roots in Yelapa. Her goal is to empower women and help them connect and embrace their inner goddess through her designs. Diosa Mar has been featured in Miami Swim Week 2016 and 2017. This Mexican brand prides itself on finding the best local resources and employees which is why 'HECHO EN MEXICO' is such an essential part of DIOSA MAR.
